Ruth has a new found Hannah Montana obsession! She loves to dance and sing to her in the car and in the house. We finally caught her on tape only by telling her that she is a celebrity like hannah montana and celebrities get recorded. I am going to have my hands full!

Happy easter!
The easter bunny was certainly good to Ruth! Funny story first....
Ruth got an ear infection just before easter and had to take amoxicillin and was unhappy about this. She refused to take it the first night so i picked up the phone and pretended to dial a number and talk to the easter bunny. I then relayed an imaginary message to Ruth that if she didn't take her medicine the easter bunny wouldn't come.
She then took it and insisted that I call the easter bunny and make sure that he knew she took it so he would come to her house. I got ready to do the pretend dialing when she says "No I want to talk to the easter bunny and tell him!" AAAHHH!!! So I dial a number of someone whom she won't recognize the voice of and my poor friend had to be the easter bunny for a moment in time. IT WORKED! She took her medicine without fail every morning and night!
After opening baskets and loading up on chocalate we went to our friends dave and carols to have dinner with a bunch of friends. Here is Ruth with her two best friends all dressed up for a windy cold and rainy day.
As if Ruth didn't have enough chocolate in the wee morning hours, we had an easter egg hunt so the girls could make sure to eat more chocolate.

Miss supermodel!
Ruth was chosen to be a model for the base thrift shop fashion snow. She was modeling this absolutely adorable blue summer dress. She did such a good job modeling with this lady!
She even did a supermodel spin at the end of the stage.
Oh I should also mention that she was the very first model to make the catwalk for the show!
Chocolate!
We decided to take an ITT trip through the base to the Condorelli chocolate factory... almost the hersheys of Italy. It was so very small and we went through quick but the free chocolate they let us taste test was absolutely delicious to say the least!

Karate
Karate is still going great with three classes and 50 students total. 5 months pregnant and still managing to do karate although my Gi is getting tight and my belt is getting shorter and shorter!
Family weekend in Palermo
On Roberts weekend off in February we headed to Palermo for a fun family weekend. We strolled parks on the water where Ruth loved to play in the grass and discover flowers and such.
That night we spent a couple of hours walking around downtown to get something to eat when we discovered the play area for kids. She had a blast on rides and playing with a little italian girl in the ball pit.

Although its starting to get warm in sunny sigonella it is still cold up on the mountain and there is nothing better to do on those cold days but head up to Mt Etna and sled with our friends!
